What We Designed
We approached the redesign by focusing on simplicity, accessibility, and brand alignment. Through stakeholder interviews and content audits, we restructured the site into clear hubs for HR, IT, and leadership resources—making essential information easy to find. We also built a flexible system of content cards and templates so the PFS team can manage updates without technical assistance.
Key wins included:
-
Simplified navigation with clear content hierarchy
-
Accessible design elements meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards
-
Mobile-responsive layouts for on-the-go access
-
Consistent visual system reinforcing PFS’s identity
Modernize an outdated intranet & improve internal workflows
How Might We...
Peninsula Family Service needed a SharePoint redesign to better serve its staff, volunteers, and leadership teams. The existing intranet had grown fragmented over time, making it difficult to locate resources, forms, and departmental updates. With a workforce spread across multiple programs, the organization required a centralized, user-friendly platform to streamline operations and keep everyone connected to the mission.
Additional goals included:
-
Consolidate resources for easier employee access
-
Improve navigation across HR, IT, and leadership hubs
-
Ensure mobile-friendly, accessible design for all staff
-
Reflect PFS’s mission and values in the visual identity
